Vibrant and varied,
This 'continent' down under,
Great for travellers.
So far, I've only been to Australia on work trips (in 2015). I've spent a week in Melbourne, and a few days in Brisbane. I really enjoyed Melbourne in particular - very vibrant, loads of stuff to do, comfortable for travellers who don't want to go out of their comfort zones, and with good coffee and scenic countryside close-by.
I get the sense that Australia is absolutely abundant for travel opportunities. There are so many places to choose from, and of course it is an enormous country with an incredible array of features, particularly natural. It may not have an enormous amount of 'history', but it's certainly exciting and often very beautiful. The cities are also very multicultural, on the whole, and I'm sure there is a high quality of life for residents.

In July 2016, my wife, son, and I went to Sydney for a long weekend. We had a lovely time, in fact, our first 'family holiday'. We were based near Darling Harbour, and very much enjoyed the cafes, restaurants, shopping, and hustle & bustle of city life. We had a nice trip to Manly as well.
