Mint tea, shisha pipes,
Lost amidst mazes of souks,
Riads in Old Town.
In 2012, I met up with my wife in Morocco - I came from Sierra Leone, and she came from London. It was an ideal location in that it's exactly half way between the two places.
We ended up taking a taxi from Casablanca to Marrakesh, thanks to there being delays on the train service because of Eid. Marrakesh is a cool place to visit, despite being incredibly touristy. The souks and the riads are enchanting and romantic, the food and mint tea are great, and there is plenty to see and do. We had a fun time at the hammam, and drinking tea in the squares while people-watching. If you can get away from the excessively touristy areas, it's very nice and romantic.
